Stupid Line

A stupid line came up to my mind yesterday at the Teologi Biblika class. It was a thought that appeared when I saw Aiko typing something on her laptop while doing a presentation in front of the class. It had something to do with the way I'm typing but then I made it as a line that had something to do with love.

"Kalau kau sampai memintaku untuk mengetik tidak dengan sepuluh jari, aku tidak akan dapat menyanggupinya!"

That was a note that I wrote on the paper I had on my chair. I showed it to Joice, who sat right next to me, actually just to show off. But then, suddenly I created another line as a conclusion (?).

"Kalau kau sampai memintaku untuk berhenti mencintaimu, aku pun tidak akan dapat menyanggupinya." Stupid line, isn't it?

Crazy Love

Crazy Love adalah album terbaru dari Michael Buble. Aku baru tahu kalau album itu sudah diluncurkan oleh Buble sejak September 2009 lalu. Aku secara tidak sengaja mencari lagu-lagu Michael Buble di absolutelyric.com. Di website ini pengunjungnya bisa melihat album setiap penyanyi secara lengkap. Kalau mereka punya liriknya, mereka akan membuat link terhadap lirik lagunya. Aku terkejut ketika mengetahui ternyata Buble sudah punya album baru lagi. Kamis lalu waktu aku menggunakan laptop Ella yang baru aku install ulang, aku pun mencari beberapa lagu di YouTube. Waktu itu lagu yang aku lihat video-nya adalah video penampilan Buble menyanyikan lagu Cry Me A River di sebuah tayangan acara televisi. Aku pikir lagu-lagunya pasti menarik, makanya aku mencarinya. Aku bahkan membuat statusku menanyakan apakah ada yang mempunyai album baru Buble ini. Sayangnya, tidak ada respon.

Kemarin malam aku teringat sebuah website tempat aku bisa mencari lagu-lagu untuk diunduh. Aku mencari dengan kata kunci Michael Buble Crazy Love. Voila. Aku menemukan sebuah file yang di-share dalam bentuk file RAR berisi satu album lengkap. Aku lalu mendownloadnya. Butuh waktu sejam lebih untuk mendownload file itu. (Kemarin aku pergi makan malam sementara proses download berlangsung.)

Aku meng-ekstrak filenya, lalu memainkannya di Winamp-ku. Sangat disayangkan ternyata orang yang mengupload file itu untuk di-share mengubah tag di dalam File Info-nya. Isi dari Title, Artist, Album Name, dan semua kolom berisi "Arabseed.com-By.S.N.!.P.E.R" yang sangat mengganggu pemandangan ketika memainkan file lagu-lagu itu di Winamp. Masakan yang tertulis "Arabseed.com-By.S.N.!.P.E.R - Arabseed.com-By.S.N.!.P.E.R" untuk semua lagu? Selain masalah tag itu, ternyata nama file ada yang salah juga. Masakan file bernama "08 - Hold On" ternyata lagunya malah lagu Heartache Tonight?

Tadi pagi setelah selesai bermain capsah bersama Armand, Hendrik, dan Jeremia hingga pukul 3, aku malah worked on the album hingga pukul 4 lewat. Aku mengubah tag dan mengubah nama file-file lagu itu. Aku juga mendownload lengkap lirik semua lagu yang ada di album itu.

Sekarang, aku sudah bisa bernyanyi dengan Michael Buble di kamarku.

I Don't Have Anything

I sort of thought that I don't have anything to be proud of. I know it's only a kind of stupid thinking. In fact, I have a lot of thing that is good enough that others might don't have.

The thought came to my mind right after I finished installing Windows 7 Ultimate on Ella's laptop. First of all, actually I don't have any more Windows installer. What a stupid guy I am, right? How could I say yes to Ella when she asked me to reinstall her laptop? I know it would not be a problem because I believed that I will get one. And I was right. Yesterday I borrowed Ryan's Windows XP SP3 CD after Ella handed me her laptop. Unfortunately, the installing process was not finished correctly. I don't know why.

I worked on Ella's laptop at the library this morning. Right after the installing process looked like never going to be finish, I decided to ask the other Windows XP SP3 installer to Mas Chandra. After consulting  a little bit about SATA harddisk, I finally decided to give a try to install WIndows 7 on Ella's laptop. Actually it just took less than a hour to finish the installation if I didn't have myself a break to canteen. And here I am, still working on Ella's laptop, typing this journal.

Some day in this month, on the day I was going to go to Lembur Pancawati, Bang Charles asked me to be a photographer and a cameraman at the same time on his father's birthday on February 21st. I already said that I didn't have any camera and/or handycam, but he said that he would get them for me to be used on the day. I couldn't reject the very polite (and flattering?) request. I said yes. Yesterday he said that I would use a digital camera, a film-based DSLR camera, and a tape-type handycam video recorder.

This morning I was shocked by an announcement. Tim Unit Penelitian Lapangan decided that I will do my Collegium Pastorale II at GKI Pondok Indah. Although it is still needed to be confirmed, I already thought that I don't have any capability to do my CP II there. And frankly, I really don't know what to feel about this one.

My final conclusion: I dont' have anything to be proud of, right?
