I need to write again. It's been too long this blog has been abandoned.
So, I want to tell a story about yesterday morning trip from Taman Suropati to Kontrakan Gak Jelas at Kalasan Dalam.
Yesterday, I had a chance to be at Taman Suropati at about 6.30 am. I was dropped off near the Great Britain's ambassador residence. I walked through Taman Suropati from the north to the south of the park. I didn't remember anymore when the last time I walked through that park. I guess it was about the end of 2011. I used to come to the park with my (or Hans') bicycle that no longer mine (or Hans'). The layout of the park had changed for a few times. I stil had the pictures that I took about 2007 in that park. I guess I need to take pictures with the new layout. The new layout has a wide free space in the center of the park. People can hold a flashmob with about a hundred people in the center of the park. I guess that is the most significant change in the park for years.
Leaving the park, I walked through Jalan Diponegoro. You would see a lot of ambassador of some countries residences on the street. You can find the vice president of Indonesia residence too on the corner of the street. Acrross the vice president's residence is a house of a military general, I guess. Yesterday some military policemen stood near the traffic light prepared for the general's convoy. I could see the preparation while I walking through the front of the general's house. Walkting though the pavement, I can see the signs of some other ambassador's residence. The Switzerland's ambassador residence was the frist house I went through after the general's house. It was build (or rebuild) about 2010-2011. I could see Pusat Kebudayaan Rusia accros the pavement that I walked trough. I could remember that there was a pcture of a newly wed couple in 2007 on the bulletin board that was placed in the fornt of the Pusat Kebudayaan Rusia.
To make it short, I went though the street for about 20 minutes. And for your information, the ambassadors residences in the street: United States, Switzerland, Belgium (I just realized that this one exists on the street yesterday), Philliphines, Palestine, and another one that I forget from which country. There are also Italy and Switzerland embassy on the street.
I arrived at Kontrakan Gak Jelas about 7 am.
